B09 Correlation between chain conformation, microstructure and mechanical behaviour of shear aligned weakly segregated block copolymers

Weidisch

The funding of the project by the DFG ended on November 30, 2013, i.e. 19 months earlier than originally planned. Main targets of the projects had been achieved within this timeframe. Some more extended studies and detailed
comparisons between different model block copolymer systems like proposed in the original work plan were not been possible under these conditions. Nevertheless, the work has been a starting point of collaborative activities within the SFB/TRR 102 and has also stimulated methodical developments
in other projects. The project B14 of the SFB/TRR 102 made use of the methodical developments in project B09 and there are ongoing research activities on related topics within the group Micro- and nanostructure-based polymer composites at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.
