Retreats:

8. Retreat (Final) 20-21.04.2023

In addition to reporting on the final status of the projects of the SFB TRR 102 “Polymers under Constrained Conditions” after almost 12 years of research, the retreat  featured presentations by external guests from academia and beyond.
Furthermore, the meeting  served to discuss the content of the formal final report for the DFG.
This time the program was organized by a group of PhD students of the SFB.

Self-Assembly in Synthetic and Biological Polymers: Similarities and Differences

Aim of the Satellite Meeting

Self-assembly and molecular structure are decisive for properties of synthetic polymeric materials and essential functions of biological macromolecules. Despite differences in details, the underlying processes carry in many aspects similarities which can provide important insights. The meeting brings together scientists working in these fields in order to understand these complex ordering processes.
